Happy World Card Making Day! I’m so excited to share this card as part of Operation Write Home’s 2014 WCMD Bloghop. If you’ve never been to my blog before, then welcome! (And if you think you may have been to my blog before but aren’t sure, then that might be because I migrated/overhauled the whole thing just a few days ago and it may not look familiar.) Click here if you need to get back to the start of the hop at any time and please read about OWH’s current needs here if you’re interested in contributing to this wonderful cause. The theme this year was “love” cards, so I broke out my stamps and colored pencils to create this:
The images and sentiments are from Newton’s Nook Designs and I colored them with Prismacolor pencils after heat embossing them in white on Neenah Desert Storm cardstock.
I won’t take up any more of your time because there are many more blogs for you to hit, but I will list my other supplies below if there is something that strikes your fancy. Thanks for stopping by and please enjoy the rest of the hop!
Materials
Stamps – “Wagon of Wishes” by Newton’s Nook Designs
Dies – “Expressions Thinlits Dies” by Stampin’ Up
Cardstock – Neenah Desert Storm (100#), “Real Red” from Stampin’ Up, 6×6 “Pumpkin Patch” pad from American Crafts
Other – Linen thread from Stampin’ Up, Prismacolor Pencils
I am also participating in the Newton’s Nook Designs World Card Making Day Link-Up that can be found here and Inky Paws Challenge #14 found here.
