Hi friends! Today I’m excited to share a fun project made with the February 2023 Kit from Waffle Flower’s Sneak Peek Club. If you don’t know yet, the Sneak Peek Club is a new monthly subscription service that allows its members to play with new items about a month before they are released. Kits are normally revealed on the first of the month to subscribers if they opt in to spoiler alerts (and customers can choose to skip before they are charged on the 4th of the month after the first kit) and product selection will vary each time. So if you are a big fan of Waffle Flower products (and who isn’t?!), it is a really fun way to get your hands on a few new goodies every month before anyone else!
Here’s a look at the contents of this month’s kit…a cute layered stencil, sweet dog silhouettes die set, beautiful sentiment die set, a sheet of black foam strips, and two mini bonus sentiment sheets come in a nice, heavy-duty project bag with kit instructions for a sample project. If you subscribe now, you will receive the March 2023 kit, but the products in this month’s kit will be available to purchase separately starting on March 5th (or scroll down for a chance to enter a giveaway to win the February kit!).
I started my card by trimming a piece of Waterfall Cardstock to 4.125″ x 5.375″ and applying Peacock Feathers and Uncharted Mariner Distress Ink through the Paw Print Stencil Duo (I love the dimensional look this stencil gives!) before matting it with Onyx Cardstock and adhering it to a top-folding A2-sized white card base. Then I used partial diecutting to create a white panel with the dog silhouette and sentiment shadow layer cut out of the top.
I cut the friend sentiment out of Black Glitter Foam and adhered it to the white panel with liquid glue before popping it up on top of the card front with foam adhesive. To finish off the card, I trimmed out two of the sentiments included in the kit and added them to the front of the card with the foam strips, then scattered a few Onyx Mix Gems for a little sparkle.

This is simple and stunning! Love the combination of the word die with the dog silhouettes. I especially love/lust those dog dies (p.s. – will happily pick up at a US address I have [wink]).

This is a great card. Love the white space with just a good amount of busy pawprint. Our pets are so impt to us and I agree… I have used a few pet sympathy cards recently, which has tugged at my heartstrings.
