Hi there…I’m back today with a really quick post to share a card project I made with the soon-to-be-released “Florals” stamp set from Pink & Main. This is a “builder”-type set, so you can create tons of different floral designs just by stamping in your favorite colors. Given that it’s late summer now, I chose to make mine into a sunflower wreath.
To start, I traced a small circle die lightly in pencil onto my cardstock and created a couple of masks each for the flower and leaf images using Post-It tape. Then I just stamped my wreath around the circle, masking as I went, so that I could create dimension with each of the elements. The sunflowers were stamped using Daffodil Delight and Chocolate Chip inks (Stampin’ Up) and I alternated between Old Olive and Pear Pizzazz (SU) for the leaves.
To finish the card off, I added a sentiment from the “Hello Sunshine” set released by Pink & Main last month, a few twists of yellow twine from American Crafts, and a Chocolate Chip mat before popping it all up over a white cardbase.
I hope you enjoyed this card project and I appreciate you stopping by!
This is so pretty!!
Thank you Stacey!
