Hello again friends! I wanted to stop by quickly today to share a couple of projects made with the new Stampendous Cool FransFormers Collection from Spellbinders. (Check out the rest of the October release here…so much fun stuff this month!) This collection contains three adorable stamp sets with images designed to be actually flexible so that they can be altered by stretching or mixed with different accessories for countless configurations and ultimate versatility in stamping. Here I used two of the sets to create these adorable cards perfect for sending a winter hello.
SNOWMAN MISSING YOU CARD
I couldn’t resist these sweet snowmen from the Snowy Friends Stamp Set, so I pulled them out to color up first. Each stamp was stretched to one side as I placed them on my acrylic block so that they would appear to be leaning into each other when I built the scene. After stamping them in black alcohol-friendly ink, I colored them quickly with Copic markers and fussycut them out.
The background was really easy to create…I just trimmed out a panel from the Winter Splash Quick Card Backgrounds Pack, matted it with Forest Cardstock, and added it to a top-folding A2-sized white card base. After popping the snowmen up on top of the card front with foam adhesive, I stamped a quick sentiment from the stamp set and added it to the top corner.
SEASON’S TWEETINGS CARD
Next I pulled out the Snow Birds Stamp Set and settled on a mini slimline format because I wanted to use both of the adorable images! I stamped the chubbier bird on top of the feet attached to the branch and created a joyful dancing bird with the second body. Both were colored with Copic markers and fussycut out with scissors.
For the background, I cut some Glacier Cardstock with the largest Precision Layering Mini Slimline Die, embossed it with the Sparkling Snow 3D Embossing Folder, matted it with Onyx Cardstock, and adhered it to a top-folding white card base measuring 3.5″ x 6.5″. Then I added a small snow bank cut with the Color Block Scenic Scape Die Set beneath my two cute birds and popped a sentiment from the set up at the top.
