I’m not Irish…not even a little bit. But, I can’t let a good excuse to send out little holiday packages go by, so I made a few St. Patrick’s Day projects again this year. This tag will go perfectly with a simple treat bag I bought to fill for my nephew and was super easy to make.
The scalloped oval layer was created with the “Cameo Stamping Frame” die and some green gingham patterned paper from my stash. I adhered my image panel on top and tied a simple knot of tan baker’s twine to one of the open scallops.
For the image, I stamped the bunny from the “Lucky You” stamp set in Versamark ink on watercolor cardstock and added white embossing powder. Once heat set, I added color (direct to paper) using my Spectrum Aqua markers in the deepest shadow areas and blended it out with a waterbrush. A few clear sequins finished off the tag.
Are you making anything crafty for St. Patrick’s Day? Thanks for stopping by today and I’d love to hear your comments!
