Continuing Subscriptions will charge on the 5th of each month. This means existing Club Members will still be able to cancel subscriptions or make edits to payment or shipping info up until the 4th of each month.
LARGE DIE OF THE MONTH
This month’s Large Die of the Month Kit, “Towering Blooms“, is a large set of 16 dies that can be used to build a fun and kinda funky floral bouquet that fills an entire card front. I used the set to make this bright and pretty bouquet for a hello card, but you can use the blooms for other arrangements as well!
After cutting the flowers and leaves from Pink Sand, Dahlia, Persimmon, and Rainforest Cardstock, I added some shading with coordinating Distress Inks and assembled each piece with liquid glue. The background was created by debossing a pretty design into white cardstock using this month’s Embossing Folder of the Month and the bouquet was added on top with foam adhesive. To finish the card off, I added a sentiment cut from Mirror Gold Cardstock and a few Gold Mix Gems as flower centers.
SMALL DIE OF THE MONTH
This month’s Small Die of the Month Kit, “Build A Card Hello“, is a pretty and versatile set perfect for easy floral cards. The kit contains 9 cutting dies that allow you to cut a couple of different floral outline designs and their backers as well as a sentiment and label. You can add color to the backer piece behind the flowers, inlay colored cardstock to fill them in, or just use the outline designs like I did here.
I cut the outline pieces and label shape in the kit out of Brushed White Cardstock and added some tiny flowers on top cut from Mirror Gold Cardstock. To assemble my background, I started by inking around the edges of a Pink Sand panel with Picked Raspberry Distress Ink and then added the floral designs directly on top with liquid glue. I embossed a partial sentiment on the label in gold using this month’s Clear Stamp of the Month and added the die-cut sentiment over top (Wild Berry Cardstock with Mirror Gold shadow).
STITCHING DIE OF THE MONTH
This month’s Stitching Die of the Month is so gorgeous with multiple ways to build a stitched garden! “Grand Stitched Blossoms“, is a set of 8 dies that creates a two different styles of oversized stitch florals. I cut the smaller bud-like flowers out of Waterfall, Teal Topaz, Lagoon, and Rainforest Cardstock and added touches of shading with Peacock Feathers, Blueprint Sketch, and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxides Inks before stitching them up with metallic gold thread for this simple and pretty congrats card.
To asssemble the card, I embossed a piece of white cardstock with this month’s 3D Embossing Folder of the Month, matted it with Mirror Gold Cardstock, and added it to a top-folding A2-sized white card base with foam adhesive. Then I popped the stitched flowers up on top with foam adhesive and added a sentiment embossed in gold using this month’s Clear Stamp & Die of the Month.
3D EMBOSSING FOLDER OF THE MONTH
And while we’re talking about it, this month’s 3D Embossing Folder of the Month, “Criss Cross Motif”, is so beautifully detailed and perfect for cards all year long! I embossed a piece of Portobello Cardstock and matted it with Mirror Gold Cardstock for this background…the design is so intricate I didn’t think it needed any fancy inking or embellishing!
This is the larger floral design from the Grand Stitched Blossoms set and I cut it out of Velvet Rose, Peach Sorbet, and Sage Cardstock before inking and stitching with gold metallic thread again. The finishing touch on this pretty card is a sentiment from this month’s Glimmer Kit of the Month.
GLIMMER KIT OF THE MONTH
This month’s Glimmer Kit of the Month, “All You Need Sentiments” contains 2 Glimmer plates that can be used to foil a wide variety of sentiments as well as a die to cut the sentiments out into a pretty fishtail banner shape. Since this kit really does have all of the sentiments you need, I applied Matte Gold Hot Foil to white cardstock using both of the included plates and cut them out with the coordinating die for this simple and pretty holiday card.
The background was created with some Crimson Cardstock that I embossed with the Poinsettia Bells & Border 3D Cut & Emboss Folder and matted with Mirror Gold Cardstock. After popping up two foiled sentiment strips in the center of the card front, I added some holly and flowers created with the American Holly and Glory of Snow Die Sets. Gold Mix Gems were added to embellish.
CLEAR STAMP & DIE OF THE MONTH KIT
This month’s Clear Stamp of the Month Kit, “Sending Sentiments” is a set of 17 sentiment stamps to mix and match to create greetings for nearly any occasion. If your subscription includes the coordinating dies, you’ll also get 6 dies to cut all of the large sentiments out as well as a strip die for the smaller sub-sentiments. I stamped the “just a note” sentiment repeatedly onto white cardstock with teal ink to create a simple background for this cute hello card.
Once stamped, I blended Salvaged Patina Distress Ink around the edges, matted it with Lagoon Cardstock, and added it to a top-folding A2-sized white card base with tape runner. The “hello” sentiment was stamped and embossed onto Lagoon Cardstock with white embossing powder and cut out with the coordinating die. To create the flower, I cut Mirror Gold Cardstock with this month’s Small Die of the Month and filled in the spaces with brightly colored cardstock.
EMBOSSING FOLDER OF THE MONTH
And here is this month’s beautiful Embossing Folder of the Month, “Meandering Floral“. It embosses a pretty floral outline pattern that’s subtle and sweet and works great for everyday cards. I inked the bottom of a piece of Purple Mist Cardstock with Wilted Violet Distress Ink for an ombre look, embossed it with the Meandering Floral embossing folder, and rubbed a white ink pad over the raised areas to create a background for this quick and simple love card.
The sentiment was stamped onto white cardstock in purple ink and embossed onto Royal Amethyst Cardstock with white embossing powder using this month’s Clear Stamp & Die of the Month. To finish off the card, I just added a few Crystal Mix Gems and thought the card was perfect as-is!
BETTERPRESS OF THE MONTH
Have you joined the BetterPress of the Month Club yet? This month’s kit, “Sentimental Mosaic“, contains 4 press plates that create an amazing and detailed background design as well as three sentiments. I pressed the background plate onto Porcelain Cotton Cardstock using Saffron BetterPress Ink and couldn’t believe the gorgeous image I got on the first try!
I matted the panel with Latte Cardstock and added it to a white card base before pressing one of the sentiments from the set onto Porcelain Cotton Cardstock using Bark BetterPress Ink and cutting it out with the Everlasting Circles Die Set. After popping the sentiment up in the center of the card, I added some orange and white blooms around it that I cut with my Garden Builder Die Set.
WAX SEAL OF THE MONTH
Lastly, here is a quick look at this month’s Wax Seal of the Month Kit. The “Bloomy For You” Wax Seal Kit contains one pretty circular wax seal stamp as well as a bag of coordinating waxbeads. I don’t have this product on hand yet, but will post a project using it soon!
