Happy November friends! It’s reveal day for the November 2022 Club Kits from Spellbinders and there are so many beautiful designs this month! Today I’m sharing ten card projects featuring the Large Die of the Month, Small Die of the Month, Glimmer Kit of the Month, Clear Stamp of the Month Kit, Embossing Folder of the Month, Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month, Card Kit of the Month, and Clear Stamp & Die of the Month Kits.
LARGE DIE OF THE MONTH
This month’s Large Die of the Month Kit, “Stylized Floral Kaleidoscope Slimline“, is a oversized set of 8 dies that can be used to create a beautiful layered floral background for a slimline card or smaller cards when trimmed down. I created a bright and cheery slimline birthday card with shiny gold accents.
I started by cutting the background layers out of white, Wild Berry, and Mirror Gold Cardstock before adhering them together and onto a top-folding white card base measuring 3.5″ x 8.5″. Then I cut the flowers out of Pink Sand, Wild Berry, and Mirror Gold Cardstock and the leaves out of Mirror Gold, Peridot, and Rainforest Cardstock before adhering them together with liquid glue.
After popping the flowers and leaves up on top of the card base with foam adhesive, I added some Gold Mix Gems to the flower centers and a pretty sentiment strip cut using the kit. I love how fun and different this card is!
SMALL DIE OF THE MONTH
This month’s Small Die of the Month Kit, “Layered Floral Card Creator“, is another beautiful set with tons of versatile floral elements. The kit contains 14 cutting dies that allow you to piece together pretty flowers in whatever shades you can dream of and fill a card front on either A2 or slimline cards. I cut mine out of some autumn-inspired colors for this pretty friendship card.
I started by cutting all of the floral elements twice out of bright oranges, reds, yellows, and greens and layered them up to create two beautiful floral panels. Then I trimmed a piece of Timber Cardstock to 4.25″ x 5.5″ and embossed it with this month’s Embossing Folder of the Month before adhering it to a top-folding A2-sized white card base with tape runner.
The two floral panels were popped up on top of the card front with foam adhesive. To finish the card off, I stamped a sentiment from this month’s Clear Stamp of the Month in brown ink on white cardstock and cut it out with the coordinating die before adding it with more foam adhesive.
GLIMMER KIT OF THE MONTH
This month’s Glimmer Kit of the Month follows the same beautiful floral motif as the Small Die of the Month and is perfect for cards of all occasions. “Glimmer Edge Stylized Floral” contains just one Glimmer plate along with a coordinating die that can be used to foil a bunch of gorgeous floral designs and a sentiment and cut them all out together in one pass. I arranged my gilded flowers on one side of my card and added bright colors for a pretty celebration card.
I started by applying Gold Hot Foil to white cardstock a couple of times using the Glimmer Kit of the Month. After coloring the images in with Copic markers, I cut them all out using the coordinating die. I trimmed the sentiment up a bit further to alter the greeting for a better fit on my card.
I trimmed a piece of white cardstock to 4.25″ x 5.5″ and embossed it with this month’s Embossing Folder of the Month before adhering it to a top-folding A2-sized white card base with tape runner. Then I arranged the foiled flowers along the left edge of the card and adhered them down with foam adhesive, trimming off any excess with scissors. To finish of the card, I added the sentiment and some Gold Mix Gems.
EMBOSSING FOLDER OF THE MONTH
You’ve seen this month’s Embossing Folder of the Month, “Fan Motif“, several times already because I love the beautiful and versatile design so much! The perfect subtle pattern of Fan Motif is easy to use on all kinds of projects. I added a single layered rose to this shiny background for a simple and pretty love card.
I started by trimming a piece of Mirror Gold Cardstock to 4″ x 5.25″ and embossed it with the Fan Motif Embossing Folder before lightly sanding the raised surface with a sanding block. This gave it a worn and tarnished look that I love! Then I cut several different colors of red and green cardstock using the Large Die of the Month Kit to create a stylized red rose.
I stamped a sentiment in red ink onto white cardstock using the Clear Stamp of the Month Kit and cut it out using the coordinating die. After popping the flower and sentiment up on top of the card front with foam adhesive, I added a single Gold Mix Gem to the flower center.
CLEAR STAMP & DIE OF THE MONTH KIT
This month’s Clear Stamp of the Month Kit is another gorgeous design! “Diamond & Arch Motif” is a set of 7 stamps that can be used to create two different floral bunches and add one of five beautiful sentiments. If your subscription includes the coordinating dies, you’ll also get 7 dies to cut the images and all of the sentiments out.
I stamped the diamond floral design four times onto Indigo Cardstock using Versamark Ink, added rose gold embossing powder, and melted it with my heat tool. Then I cut them out with the coordinating dies and arranged them in the four corners of my card front.
After trimming another piece of Indigo Cardstock to 4.75″ square, I embossed it with the Fan Motif Embossing Folder before adhering it to a top-folding 5″ square white card base with foam adhesive. The floral panels and sentiment were then added with more foam adhesive.
AMAZING PAPER GRACE DIE OF THE MONTH
Once again, this month’s Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month is a gorgeous and fun 3D design. The “Pop-up 3D Vignette Alarm Clock” is a massive die set containing 21 dies that can be used to cut a beautifully-detailed 3D alarm clock and coordinating sentiments. I used the kit to create a pretty 3D card in bright feminine colors and added some beautiful flowers for a fun touch.
The main components of the clock were cut from Pink Sand, Wild Berry, Mirror Gold, and white cardstock and assembled according to the instructions. Then I cut some flowers out of white cardstock using the Cinch & Go Blossoms Die Set, inked them with a bit of Picked Raspberry Distress Ink, and shaped and assembled them before adding them to the clock. Don’t forget to set the clock to your favorite time (mine is set to when my son was born 🙂 )!
CARD KIT OF THE MONTH
Lastly, this month’s Card Kit of the Month, “Time Offline” is chock full of sweet outdoorsy images, pretty sentiments, and a cute die set that cuts a tiny woodsy floral arrangement perfect for autumn cards. I used lots of different elements in the kit to create four easy outdoors-inspired cards.
This first card uses the die set in the kit to cut a cute woodsy window decorated with pretty flowers and leaves. I added Vintage Photo Distress Ink to some of the die-cuts to give them lots of dimension before adhering them together.
The background is a pretty piece of patterned paper from the included paper pad. After adhering the woodsy window on top with foam adhesive, I added a puffy sentiment and heart using some of the other pieces in the kit.
The stamp set includes a couple of fun camping images as well as several sentiments. I stamped the camper image onto white cardstock and colored it in with Copic markers. Then I created a mountain scene for it out of die-cut images and patterned paper and added another puffy sentiment to finish the card off.
There are definitely some more feminine images in the kit that embrace the same outdoorsy them. Here I arranged a cute fox and lots of woodsy florals on top of some of the brighter patterned paper in the kit for a sweet card for a friend.
Lastly, I embossed one of the sentiments in the kit onto a woodslice die-cut in gold and arranged it with leaves and other wood slices on top of patterned paper for a cute birthday card. I love the gorgeous color scheme in this month’s kit!
I hope you enjoyed these pretty holiday card projects and thanks so much for stopping by today. You can subscribe to any of the Spellbinders Clubs now and never miss a great kit like these again!
