Hello crafty friends! I’m actually away on a camping trip right now, so I’m just popping in quickly to share the card I made with the August 2020 Large Die of the Month Kit from Spellbinders. This month’s kit is so much fun! The 3D Still Life Easel & Canvas die set contains all the dies you need to create an actual little 3D easel and canvas, plus a ton of little painting supplies to embellish it. After foiling my canvas (cut from watercolor cardstock) with a sentiment from the Crafty Sentiments Hot Foil Plate set using Gold Hot Foil and my Glimmer Hot Foil Machine, I “painted” it with Distress Inks and splatters.
Then I assembled the canvas with a little liquid glue and adhered it to the front of an A2-sized card base covered with a piece of fun patterned paper from the Around The World paper pad. A few little paint brushes, paint tubes, and palette were cut, assembled, and adhered in the corner to embellish.
