Happy New Year friends! The January 2024 Club Kits from Spellbinders have been revealed and there are tons of beautiful spring and bee-themed designs this month! Today I’m sharing ten card projects featuring the Large Die of the Month, Small Die of the Month, Stitching Die of the Month, Glimmer Kit of the Month, Clear Stamp of the Month Kit, Embossing Folder of the Month, 3D Embossing Folder of the Month, Clear Stamp & Die of the Month Kits, BetterPress of the Month Kit, and the NEW Stencil of the Month Kit!

LARGE DIE OF THE MONTH
This month’s Large Die of the Month Kit, “Honey Bee Jar“, is a HUGE set of 22 dies that can be used to create a fun honey jar filled with honey, flowers, and bees. I used the set to make this pretty shaped card for a friend, but you can fit the jar onto an A2-sized card base if you would like as well!
I started by scoring and folding a piece of white cardstock and then running it through my diecutting machine several times with the jar outline die placed slightly over the fold to create the shaped cardbase. Then I die cut the remaining pieces out of colorful cardstock and built my scene on top.

You can attach the honey dipper to the side of your shaped card or add it next to the jar on an A2-sized card. What a cute set!
SMALL DIE OF THE MONTH
This month’s Small Die of the Month Kit, “Sitting Pretty“, is a really sweet set perfect for love, friendship, or everyday cards. The kit contains 15 cutting dies that allow you to build a leafy flower card front design with the option to add two little birds peaking out of one of the blooms. I cut mine out of greens and teals to complement my little goldfinch heads for this pretty hugs card.
I started by embossing white cardstock using this month’s 3D Embossing Folder of the Month to create the background. After assembling the flowers and birds, I popped them up on top of the card front with foam adhesive. The sentiment was foiled in gold using the Must-Have Sentiments Glimmer Plate Set and I embellished with Gold Mix Gems.
STITCHING DIE OF THE MONTH
This month’s Stitching Die of the Month is so pretty and unique! “Bee Stitched“, is a set of 13 dies that cuts a giant stitched bee as well as some accent floral stems. I cut my bee out of yellow and black cardstock as well as some silver vellum from my stash and stitched everything up with silver metallic thread. With vellum wings, you have to be pretty careful with your stitches because messy stitches can show through from the back, but I didn’t find that too difficult with this pattern.
The background was created by embossing Teal Topaz Cardstock with this month’s Embossing Folder of the Month. After popping the stitched bee up in the center of the card, I added some of the accent floral stems above and below. To finish off the card, I stamped a sentiment from this month’s Clear Stamp of the Month and popped it up in the lower corner.
CLEAR STAMP & DIE OF THE MONTH KIT
Speaking of, this month’s Clear Stamp of the Month Kit, “Just Bee-Cause” is a set of 9 stamps with a mix of sentiments, single images, and even a background pattern perfect for creating a pretty springtime card. If your subscription includes the coordinating dies, you’ll also get 10 dies to cut out some of the images, sentiments, as well as a parts of the background pattern. I embossed the background pattern from the kit onto white cardstock using white embossing powder and applied Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed, and Wild Honey Distress Ink over it in a radial pattern.
After inking the panel, I wrapped some rustic twine around it and added it to a top-folding A2-sized white card base with foam adhesive. Then I stamped some of the images from the set and sentiment onto white cardstock with brown ink, colored the images in with Copic markers, and popped them up on the front of the card to finish it off.
GLIMMER KIT OF THE MONTH
This month’s Glimmer Kit of the Month, “Card Front Floral” contains 3 Glimmer plates that can be used to foil a beautiful full card front floral design as well as two sentiments . I applied Copper Hot Foil to white cardstock using one of the sentiments and the floral design in the kit for this simple and pretty card.
This month’s Stencil of the Month coordinates perfectly with this design, so I added various peach and green Distress Inks to the image using the stencils as a guide. Once finished, I loved the elegance of the design, so only added the foiled sentiment a few Gold Mix Gems to complete the card.
STENCIL OF THE MONTH
The Stencil of the Month can be used all on its own if you want too! “Lively Floral” is a set of five stencils that layer to produce a beautiful layered flower plus two sentiments perfect for sweet everyday cards. I inked my layers up with Salvaged Patina, Peacock Feathers, Blueprint Sketch, Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, and Rustic Wilderness Distress Inks onto Waterfall Cardstock to create this nearly one-layer card.
I’ve never tried stenciling a design like this one onto colored cardstock and I love it! It’s also fun to create two very different looking cards out of one stencil set!
EMBOSSING FOLDER OF THE MONTH
And here is this month’s beautiful Embossing Folder of the Month, “Branching Out“. It embosses a pretty and versatile leafy branch pattern all over your panel and will surely become a staple in my collection! I embossed a piece of Peach Sorbet Cardstock and added it to a top-folding white card base for this quick and simple thank you card.
I added a pale peach flower cut using this month’s Large Die of the Month Kit to a sentiment strip foiled in Copper Hot Foil with this month’s Glimmer of the Month Kit. To finish off the card, I added a cluster of Gold Mix Gems.
3D EMBOSSING FOLDER OF THE MONTH
This month’s 3D Embossing Folder of the Month, “Efflorescent Flora”, is another really gorgeous and versatile design. I inked a piece of white cardstock up with colors that reminded me of sunset (Dried Marigold, Ripe Persimmon, and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Inks) before embossing it with this beautiful pattern!
To bring out the design a bit more, I rubbed a gold pigment ink pad over the raised areas and then added the panel to a white card base with foam adhesive. I love the pattern so much, I only added a sentiment foiled in gold (using the You Are Everything Sentiments BetterPress Plate Set that is coming soon!) to complete the card.
BETTERPRESS OF THE MONTH
This month’s BetterPress of the Month Kit, “Poppy Greetings“, contains 3 press plates that create a beautiful poppy cluster as well as two pretty sentiments. I used my kit to press the design onto Porcelain BetterPress Cotton Cardstock and colored the image with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens for a bold look.
Once colored, I created a frame for the image by cutting a piece of Onyx Cardstock with one of the Essential Arches Dies. I splattered a little gold watercolor paint on the frame and added it over the image before popping a sentiment on top foiled in gold using this month’s Glimmer of the Month Kit.
WAX SEAL OF THE MONTH
Lastly, here is a look at this month’s Wax Seal of the Month Kit. The “Made With Love” Wax Seal Kit contains one pretty circular wax seal stamp as well as a bag of coordinating waxbeads. My kit came with Royal Blue Wax Beads (one of my favorite colors!), so I melted them before pressing it with the Made With Love Wax Seal Stamp to create this pretty seal. To bring out the design more, I added gold metallic marker to the raised letters of the seal.
To create the background, I embossed a piece of Glacier Cardstock with this month’s Embossing Folder of the Month and added it to a white card base with foam adhesive. Then I created a wreath out of leafy branches and flowers from this month’s Large Die of the Month Kit and placed the seal on one side of it. Flower centers were embellished with Gold Mix Gems.
