SMALL DIE OF THE MONTH
This month’s Small Die of the Month Kit, “Blooming Hello“, is perfect for sending a beautiful hello to a friend. The kit contains 12 cutting dies that allow you to cut an oversized “H” with the remaining letters beneath it, plus tons of gorgeous little blooms to layer on top. I used the dies in the kit to create a frosty and pretty card in shades of teal, silver, and blue.
I started by blending Salvaged Patina, Peacock Feathers, Blueprint Sketch, and Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide Ink over white cardstock and cut all of the letters out of it. After embossing a piece of white cardstock using this month’s 3D Embossing Folder of the Month, I adhered the letters on top. All of the floral elements were cut from Brushed Silver and white cardstock for a frosty feel, and Crystal Mix Gems were added as some flower centers.
LARGE DIE OF THE MONTH
This month’s Large Die of the Month Kit, “Monster Love Pop“, is a huge set of 21 dies that can be used to build a fun collapsible stage as well as some adorable monsters to place on it. I used the dies in the set to make a colorful valentine featuring one of the cute monsters, but the stand can be used with any of the dies in your stash for an unexpected twist on the typical card!
I constructed the stage all out of Cosmic Sky Cardstock and cut the monster and heart from the set out of various shades of pink and purple. The sentiment boxes adorning the stage were created by stamping three different greetings from this month’s Clear Stamp of the Month Kit and cutting them out with the coordinating “stamp” dies from the Large Die of the Month Kit. I love how cute this turned out and it will fold flat for mailing too!
CLEAR STAMP & DIE OF THE MONTH KIT
Speaking of this month’s Clear Stamp of the Month Kit, “Forever Yours” is a set of 14 stamps with all sorts of fun and unique sentiments for love and friendship. If your subscription includes the coordinating dies, you’ll also get 7 dies to cut many of the sentiments out. I stamped two of the sentiments from the kit onto Dune Cardstock (adding the “I love you” in a contrasting hot pink tone) to create this simple and pretty valentine.
To create the background, I blended Spun Sugar, Kitsch Flamingo, and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Ink through one of the stencils in this month’s Stencil of the Month onto Dune Cardstock. Once dry, I tied a pretty bow around the panel using some Fuchsia Satin Ribbon and matted the panel with Timber Cardstock before adhering it to a top-folding A2-sized white card base. The sentiments were then popped up on top with foam adhesive.
STITCHING DIE OF THE MONTH
This month’s Stitching Die of the Month is super pretty and tons of fun! “Stitched Notch Corner Card“ is a set of 10 dies that cuts a gorgeous stitched ray and floral card front design perfect for those special loved ones. I cut the radiant frame out of white cardstock, shaded it with Spun Sugar, Kitsch Flamingo, and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Inks, and then stitched everything up using gold metallic thread to create a gorgeous background for my card.
After layering the stitched frame up over the matting layer (cut from white cardstock), I adhered it all on top of a Wild Berry card front. The letters were cut from Mirror Gold Cardstock using this kit and I finished the whole thing off with the floral bunches cut from white cardstock, stitched with gold metallic thread, and embellished with Pink Mix Gems.
EMBOSSING FOLDER OF THE MONTH
This month’s Embossing Folder of the Month, “Heart Swag“ is perfect for all kinds of love and celebration cards! Here I embossed a piece of Dune Cardstock using the folder, and then rubbed a white inkpad over the raised design to make the pretty design stand out a bit more.
That adorable monster is this month’s Bonus Club product…a 4 piece die set that creates “Your Favorite Monster” (FREE when you subscribe to the Deluxe Caboodle Club!). After cutting him from shades of pink, I added a simple arch background made with the Arch Labels & Tag Die Set and stamped with this month’s Clear Stamp of the Month Kit.
3D EMBOSSING FOLDER OF THE MONTH
This month’s 3D Embossing Folder of the Month, “Tiny Heart Scallop” is such a fun and festive design. I blended Peacock Feathers and Salvaged Patina Distress Ink up from the bottom of a piece of white cardstock, cut a window out of the top half using the Essential Hearts Die Set, and embossed the panel using the folder to create this simple and cute love card.
Once embossed, I mounted the panel onto a top-folding A2-sized white card base with foam adhesive and added a sentiment beneath the window using dies from this month’s Large Die of the Month Kit. Then I cut the other monster out of Waterfall and Royal Amethyst Cardstock using the Monster Love Pop Die Set and popped him up inside the heart window using foam adhesive.
STENCIL OF THE MONTH
This month’s Stencil of the Month, “Two Way Heart” is a set of 5 A2 background and layering stencils that creates a colorful layered heart argyle pattern as well as a simple wavy heart pattern (used above!). I used the stencils to apply Kitsch Flamingo, Picked Raspberry, Tea Dye, and Vintage Photo Distress Inks to white cardstock for this colorful background perfect for a sweet love card.
I matted the stenciled background with a panel I inked with Vintage Photo Distress Ink (to match perfectly!) and adhered it to a top-folding A2-sized white card base. Then I stamped and die-cut a pretty sentiment from this month’s Clear Stamp & Die of the Month Kit and layered it over a little heart cut with the Essential Hearts Die Set to complete this easy card.
GLIMMER KIT OF THE MONTH
This month’s Glimmer Kit of the Month, “Friendship Is Everything” contains 3 Glimmer plates that can be used to foil a beautiful floral spray as well as two sentiments and 3 coordinating dies to cut them out. I applied Matte Gold Hot Foil to white cardstock using the floral spray plate from the kit, colored in the image with Copic markers, and die cut the edge for this pretty love card.
To assemble the card, I embossed a piece of Wild Berry Cardstock using this month’s 3D Embossing Folder of the Month and adhered it to a top-folding A2-sized white card base. The I popped the colored panel and the foiled sentiment up on top using foam adhesive.
BETTERPRESS OF THE MONTH
Lastly, this month’s BetterPress of the Month Kit, “Friendship Lace“, contains 3 press plates that create a gorgeous and ornate floral background as well as two pretty and unique sentiments. I loved how detailed the background pattern was, so I decided to keep the card simple by just pressing the design and a sentiment onto Waterfall Cardstock using Cosmic Sky BetterPress Ink.
I matted the panel with Cosmic Sky Cardstock before adhering it to a top-folding A2-sized white card base. To finish off the card, I added some Crystal Mix Gems, drawing attention to the beautiful sentiment.
