I’m taking a break from the coloring and cards today to share some easy treat bag toppers I made with just a handful of dies from Crafter’s Companion. Although mine is a birthday topper, the designs and colors I used could just as easily work for Valentine’s Day or Easter…both of which are quickly approaching!
Ok, so I did do some coloring…but it was super quick! I cut the flowers from some Crafter’s Companion Watercolor Cardstock using the “Delicate Flower” dies and then splashed some Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pen color on top (colors listed below). Starting in the center with my darkest color, I pulled the blues and greens out with progressively lighter shades.
To assemble the topper, I first stapled a doily cut from the Sweet Treats Card Pack onto my treat bag. Then I adhered a white circle (cut with the same die set) over the staples to hide them. Finally, I added my layered sparkly flower and a sentiment cut from Rose Pearl cardstock with a strong liquid adhesive.
Thanks for stopping by today…I would love to hear your comments!
