There’s just something about snowmen stamps…I can’t seem to collect enough of them! I loved the cute vintage look of the characters in the Snowmen Stamp Set from Rubbernecker and thought they would look great atop a snowy scene with just a touch of distressing. A pretty sentiment makes this simple card perfect for sending a sweet hello this Christmas.
- Stamp one of the characters from the Snowmen Stamp Set onto white cardstock using black alcohol-friendly ink.
- Color the image in with Copic markers and cut it out using the coordinating die.
- Trim a piece of kraft cardstock to 4.125″ x 5.375″.
- Stamp the Snowflake Frame image onto the panel using Versamark Ink, add white embossing powder, and melt it with a heat tool.
- Blend Caramel, Cinnamon, and Pecan Inks around the edges of the panel with a blending brush. Wipe off any excess ink that sticks to the embossed areas with a dry cloth or paper towel.
- Stamp a sentiment from the Snowmen with Presents Stamp Set onto red cardstock with Versamark Ink, add white embossing powder, and melt with a heat tool.
- Die cut the sentiment out using the smallest die from the Nested Deckle Rectangle Die Set. First position the die at the top left of the sentiment and run it through your diecutting machine, then repeat with the die positioned at the bottom right of your sentiment for a perfect-sized sentiment strip.
- Mat the background panel with red cardstock and then adhere it to a top-folding A2-sized white card base with tape runner.
- Adhere the snowman image and sentiment strip on top of the card front using foam adhesive.
