Have you seen the latest release from Rubbernecker? The September Fall Release is chock full of sweet autumn images, cute and spooky Halloween characters, and unique background stamps that are perfect for keeping in touch with your favorite fall-enthusiasts! I used some of the new stamp sets from the release to create three fun fall cards.
AUTUMN GNOMES CARD
I thought the Autumn Gnomes Stamp Set was so cute, I had to play with this one first. I colored up a ton of the images in the set to create a sweet fall mini slimline card perfect to let a friend know I’m thinking about her during her favorite time of year.
- Stamp the images from the Autumn Gnomes Stamp Set onto white cardstock using black alcohol-friendly ink.
- Color them in with Tombow ABT Pro markers and cut them out using the coordinating dies.
- Die cut Glacier Cardstock using the largest die from the Mini Slimline Tabbed Scallop Stitch Die Set.
- Apply Sonata Ink to the panel using the Clouds Stencil and a blending brush.
- Stamp a sentiment from the Autumn Gnomes Stamp Set onto the top right corner with Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink.
- Mount the background panel to a top-folding white card base measuring 3.5″ x 6.5″ with foam adhesive.
- Die cut Rainforest Cardstock first with the largest die from the Mini Slimline Tabbed Scallop Stitch Die Set and then with one of the dies from the Tabbed Grass Die Set.
- Pop the grass up on the bottom of the card front with foam adhesive.
- Add the mushroom and gnome images to the card with both liquid glue and foam adhesive for lots of dimension.
HALLOWEEN PUMPKINS CARD
And how unique is the Pumpkin Dress Up Stamp Set? I couldn’t get over these hilarious images, so I added lots of fun color and created a simple Halloween card using one of the new Rubbernecker Paper Pads.
- Stamp the images from the Pumpkin Dress Up Stamp Set onto white cardstock using black alcohol-friendly ink.
- Color the images in with Tombow ABT Pro Markers and cut them out using the coordinating dies.
- Trim a piece of patterned paper from the Spook-Tacular 6×6 Paper Pad to 4″ x 5.25″.
- Add it to a top-folding A2-sized white card base with tape runner.
- Die cut one of the solid colors from the Spook-Tacular 6×6 Paper Pad (I love paper pads that include perfectly-matching solids!) with the Nested Oval Small Stitch Die Set.
- Stamp a greeting from the Pumpkin Dress Up Stamp Set onto the panel with Versamark Ink, add white embossing powder, and melt with a heat tool.
- Mount the sentiment oval onto the card front with foam adhesive.
- Add the characters and candy on top with more foam adhesive.
I love these fun images and can’t wait to send this card…they are the perfect combination of spooky and cute!
WELCOME AUTUMN CARD
Lastly, I wanted to create a pretty autumn card with some of the beautiful images in the Fall Happiness Stamp Set (stay tuned for another card made with this stamp set coming soon!). This gorgeous lantern design just seemed to screaming “welcome” to me, so I thought it was the perfect fit for this clean and simple card.
- Stamp the lantern from the Fall Happiness Stamp Set onto white cardstock using black alcohol-friendly ink.
- Color the image in with Tombow ABT Pro markers and cut it out using the coordinating die.
- Die cut one of the patterns from the Autumn Leaves 6×6 Paper Pad with the largest die from the Nested Deckle Rectangles Die Set.
- Trim a piece of coordinating solid paper from the pad to 4.25″ x 5.5″.
- Die cut another piece of the solid-colored paper from the pad with the largest die from the Holiday Tags Die Set.
- Stamp a sentiment from the Autumn Gnomes Die Set onto the bottom of the tag with Versamark Ink, add white embossing powder, and melt with a heat tool.
- Mat the patterned paper with the solid panel and adhere to a top-folding A2-sized white card base with tape runner.
- Tie a small knot of natural twine through the hole in the tag and adhere to the card front with foam adhesive.
- Pop the lantern image up on top with more foam adhesive.
