Welcome back friends! As promised, today I’m sharing inspiration for the rest of the September 2021 Club Kits from Spellbinders (if you missed my first club kit post, you can click here to see it). The Amazing Paper Grace Kit of the Month is so fun and unique this month and I had a blast creating this beautiful vintage cash register!
Check out this HUGE die set…the “Pop-up 3D Vignette Vintage Cash Register” set has everything you need to make a cute stand-up card, including four different sentiments. It may look complicated, but it comes with thorough instructions and really does fold flat to fit in an envelope.
Here is a look at the back of the piece (a different sentiment can show through the back window!). I die cut Pink Sand, Mirror Gold, white, and bronze shimmer cardstock and rubbed on a little Gold Gilding Wax to the embossed areas to bring them out a bit more before assembly.
The Glimmer Kit of the Month is another super versatile set of hot foil plates that builds a dimensional sentiment banner. I used one of the phrases to create a simple and bright birthday card with lots of foiling.
I foiled the three lines of the phrase and the three shadow layers from the “Glimmering Build A Banner” set onto Cosmic Sky Cardstock using Gold Hot Foil and my Glimmer Hot Foil Machine. The I cut the layers out using the coordinating dies included in the set before assembling with liquid glue and foam adhesive.
The background was created by applying Mini Rainbow Hot Foil to white cardstock using the Birthday Candle Background Hot Foil Plate. After adhering the background to a top-folding A2-sized white card base with foam adhesive, I simply popped the banner up on top.
And let’s not forget this month’s Card Kit, “Together Is The Best“…it’s full of beautiful family-themed and homey images in a gorgeous color scheme! I created four cards with my kit, but have tons of leftovers to make many, many more.
I always like to show the “non-consumables” in a card kit because they’re the items that will most likely end up in your stash forever. And the stamp and die sets this month are adorable…I can think of so many ways to use the rotary phone die-cut and nesting dolls images!
I stamped out a couple of the doll images onto white cardstock and colored them in with Copic markers before fussycutting them out with scissors. Then I added them to a sweet chipboard frame surrounding by all different types of hearts from the kit and added a chipboard sentiment.
This rotary phone is so much fun! After diecutting it out of the pink, blue, and gold cardstock in the kit, I assembled it with liquid glue and popped it up on top of a card front covered with patterned paper. Then I added some fun gold puffy sentiment stickers around it for a quick and easy hello card.
There are some beautiful floral die-cuts in the kit as well and I added a bunch to this cheery card with a sentiment and some chipboard butterflies.
And I can never resist cute little foxes, so I added them to a fitting scene full of tree patterns and green speckles before popping up a few sweet die-cuts for the sentiment and adhering some gold puffy hearts around their adorable embrace.
