Around this time of year when the whole world seems to be in love, I like to send my single friends pretty cards to let them know I’m thinking of them too. With a little coloring and a fun stamped background, this cute card comes together quickly and easily and is perfect for multiples.
Start by trimming a piece of Neenah Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock (110 lb) to 8.5″ x 5.5″ and scoring it in the center. Then trim a piece of the same cardstock to 4″ x 5.25″ and a piece of Basis Grey Cardstock to 4.25″ x 5.5″.
Stamp a unique background on the Neenah Classic Crest Solar White panel using a marble stamp (Concord&9th) and several different colors of ink. This cardstock is perfect for stamping because it is smooth and bright white!
You can experiment with different ink colors to create a ton of different backgrounds for multiple cards.
On a scrap of Neenah Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock, stamp heart-shaped cookie images (Simon Says Stamp) using an alcohol-friendly ink like Memento Tuxedo Black. Color the images with Copic markers.
Die-cut a doily shape from Curious Translucent Iridescent Pearl Cardstock. Stamp a sentiment on Basis Grey Cardstock in Versamark ink, add white embossing powder, and heat to melt. Trim the grey strip into a flag shape with scissors.
Adhere the stamped panel to the grey panel with tape runner, and then to the white cardbase.
Using foam adhesive, adhere the cookies on top of the doily and slip the sentiment strip underneath the focal image before attaching to the card front with more foam adhesive.
