So I’m a bit behind on my homework for class…but I wanted to share the card I made using Debby’s random pattern stamping technique from Day 7 of Stretch Your Stamps 2. I don’t have a ton of graphic stamps because they generally don’t appeal to me, but I did pull out my “Eye Catching Ikat” set from Stampin’ Up to make this card:
After “randomly” stamping two of the patterns from the set in five different inks (Strawberry Slush, Coastal Cabana, Baked Brown Sugar, Pink Pirouette, and Smoky Slate – all SU), I stamped the sentiment from the “Hello There” set in Versafine Onyx Black ink. The panel was then mounted on a Basic Black mat and adhered to a white cardbase.
I added a little Wink of Stella Black Glitter Brush Pen to the sentiment to help emphasize it, since my random stamping underneath actually ended up a little darker than I really wanted…and also to cover up some incomplete stamping. Sequins are from the 2013-2015 In Color Sequin Assortment (SU).
Thanks for stopping by and I’d love to hear your comments!
