Happy Monday friends! I’m excited to be back today to share a couple of projects made with the Holiday Cheer Enclosed Collection from Spellbinders. This adorable collection is full of cute pet images and sweet sentiments and is perfect for all of the animal-lovers on your Christmas card list! I created a fun card and gift tag with the collection and love how you can customize these little critters for the recipient.
BOX OF CHRISTMAS CHEER CARD
As an animal-lover myself, I can’t think of a better gift than one of these adorable furry friends. I cut Persimmon, Poppy Field, Fern, and white cardstock using the Special Pet Delivery Die Set, added a few details with Copic markers to make this kitty look like my own, and assembled him with liquid glue. Then I cut Dune Cardstock using the Surprise Box Die Set, stamped some of the adorable labels onto it in Acorn Ink using the Santa Paws Sentiment Stamp Set, and assembled it with my little kitty popping out.
To create the background, I trimmed a piece of Phone Booth Cardstock to 4″ x 5.25″ and applied Gold Hot Foil to it using the Plaid Tidings Background Glimmer Plate before adhering it to a top-folding A2-sized white card base with foam adhesive. Then I embossed a greeting in gold onto white cardstock using the Santa Paws Sentiments Stamp Set and cut it out with the Sentiment Labels Die Set before adding it to the front of the card with gold twine and foam adhesive.

And I couldn’t leave out the dog-lovers in my life…how cute is this little guy?! I cut the puppy out of white, Lunar Grey, Graphite, Poppy Field, Fern, and Dune Cardstock using the Special Pet Delivery Die Set and assembled him with liquid glue. The frame and sentiment banner were cut out of Phone Booth, Alabaster, and Mirror Gold Cardstock using the same die set.
I cut two tags out of Fern Cardstock using the Create A Decorative Tag Die Set and embossed one of them with the Holly Flourish Embossing Folder. Then I adhered the tags together so that I would have a sturdy, flat surface on the back to write a message to my recipient and added the framed puppy on top with foam adhesive. I love easy and fun this little tag was!
