I send a lot of Christmas cards to young kids and they seem to love the cute kind…so today I’m sharing a card featuring images from the “Hey Gnomie” stamp set by Pink & Main. Even though this isn’t a holiday set, the little gnome with his evergreen trees was just screaming Christmas to me, so I threw him into a snowy scene full of holiday colors.
I created the background by blending several different Distress inks (Tumbled Glass, Mermaid Lagoon, and Blueprint Sketch) over some snowflakes that had been heat embossed in white (Falling Snow by Simon Says Stamp). My snowy hill was created by cutting some shimmer cardstock with the Scallop Waves dies. I then added a sentiment from “Hollydays” in Versafine Onyx Black ink.
After stamping and coloring the “Hey Gnomie” images with Copic markers, I fussy-cut them all out and arranged them in my scene with foam adhesive. To finish the card off, I added some subtle snowy sparkle with my Wink of Stella pen.
Thanks so much for stopping by today and I’d love to hear your comments!
