Have you seen the beautiful new floral stamps just released in the Rubbernecker store? With both color layering and outline image options, this gorgeous new release has something for every flower lover out there!
When I saw the new Just Love stamp set, I couldn’t help but think of walls full of beautiful fresh bouquets at a flower market. To translate that into a card, I used the Slimline Diagonal Die to create a tall slat wall and tucked my bunches of bright blue flowers around a pretty sentiment.
- Stamp the layered flower bouquet from the Just Love Stamp Set onto white cardstock using Sonata, Serene, and Sapphire ink for the blooms, Fern and Grass ink for the stems, and Apricot ink for the flower centers.
- Repeat this twice more to create three bouquets and cut them out using the coordinating dies.
- Die cut silver shimmer cardstock using the Slimline OPC Diagonal Die.
- Stamp a sentiment from the Friend Phrases With Flower Stamp Set onto white cardstock using Versafine Clair Blue Belle Ink.
- Die cut the sentiment out using the smallest die from the Inside Scallop Nested Die Set.
- Trim a piece of blue cardstock to 3.25″ x 8.25″ and secure the Slimline Stained Glass Stencil on top of it (I like to use my Make Art Stay-tion for stenciling!).
- Blend Azure Ink over the stencil with a blending brush for a tone-on-tone look.
- Adhere the stenciled panel to a side-folding white card base measuring 3.5″ x 8.5″ with tape runner.
- Add the slimline die-cut on top using foam adhesive.
- Tuck the flower bouquets and sentiment into the diagonal slats and secure down with more foam adhesive.
