Happy Monday friends! I’m so excited to share another new collection with you today from Spellbinders – Flea Market Finds by Cathe Holden. If you love the look of vintage, but prefer brighter colors and more feminine designs, then this collection is definitely for you! I fell in love with this adorable kitty from the Etiquettes Sticker Pad, so I used it to create this pretty and sweet card for a friend.
After adhering the kitty sticker to a piece of Alabaster Cardstock I trimmed around it with a pair of scissors to leave a small mat border. I stamped a sentiment from the Miscellany Words Stamp Set onto the same color of cardstock using red ink to pull out the brighter red tones of the other papers and ephemera.
The background papers are from both the Florals Palette Sampler and the Blue Green Palette Sampler paper pads and I matted each with more Alabaster Cardstock before adhering them to a 5″ x 7″ card base. A few floral stickers were added to the background panels to embellish, along with a pretty vintage floral envelope matted with Fern Cardstock. A tiny bow of natural twine and some light green pearls finish off this easy and pretty card.
