How about one more look at the May release from Divinity Designs and a couple of new ways to use these fun products? The Footsteps Stamp & Die set is full of beautiful sentiments and a really unique footprint image. I stamped the footsteps onto woodgrain paper in Versamark Ink and added Sand embossing powder before die-cutting the “feet” out, inking around the cut outs just a bit, and popping the feet back in to really draw attention to them. I love how it looks like sandy footprints on a pier and thought the sentiment (framed with Pierced Frames dies) matched this imagery perfectly!
Sticking with the weathered wood look, I created this summery 3D card with the Stair Step Pop Out die set. To embellish the front, I stamped one of the pretty sentiments from the Ray of Sunshine stamp set onto some sunny, floral paper before diecutting it with a Pierced Ovals die.
After adding “Wild & Free” to the steps using the Alphabet Caps dies, I covered the worn wood with lots of vines, flowers, and leafy branches. I made this card with a recent graduate in mind, but I think it would work for lots of occasions!
Lastly, I made a quick Father’s Day card with the new Suit Jacket die and some fun Hawaiian patterned paper. Only the Best Dad Ever would wear this getup! 😉
I hope you enjoyed this new batch of projects using the May release from Divinity Designs and thanks so much for stopping by today. Stay tuned for peeks of the July release in a couple of weeks and if you have a favorite product from May, I’d love to hear about it in the comments!
