Ready for a peek at the newest release from Divinity Designs? May’s release is full of unique dies that make fun-fold cards easy, beautiful sentiment stamps, and even a fun paper pack perfect for Father’s Day and summertime cards. I used the Stitched Sunburst Die to cut an ink-blended panel and paired it with a pretty sentiment from the Ray of Sunshine stamp set for this easy card.
And how neat is this new Suit Jacket die set (Couture Collection dies used for the base)…it’s perfect for wedding, Father’s Day, and masculine cards! I wanted to try out the trendy velvet jacket look for this card, so I used some blue flocked cardstock along with black metallic cardstock to create this super cool red carpet look.
Lastly, if you love the 3D card dies from Divinity Designs, you’re going to want to add the new Stair Step Pop Out with Layers Die to your collection. I created a super simple graduation card with it because the 4 steps are perfect for adding a year. The front was embellished in blue and gold balloons, a pretty pierced frame, and a sentiment.
Inside, I just spelled out “class of 2020” with the new Alphabet Caps Dies and added one of my favorite quotes from the Footsteps stamp set. You can really go overboard embellishing one of these fun card bases though!
I hope you enjoyed this peek at some of the newest products from Divinity Designs this month and thanks so much for stopping by today. For more inspiration using the May release, head over to the Divinity Designs blog to check out projects from the other designers!
