Bushels of Blessings Card

Bushels of Blessings Card by Annie Williams - Main

Today I’m sharing a quick card project I made using some soon-t0-be-released stamps from Pink & Main.  This set is called “Scarecrows” and contains tons of adorable autumn-themed images and sentiments!

I started out by stamping the scarecrow and pumpkin images in Versamark ink on 100# Neenah Desert Storm cardstock, followed by heat-embossing in bronze.  Then I colored these in with Prismacolor pencils and added some pretty extreme highlights that reminded me of late afternoon autumn sunshine (I sooooo want Autumn to get here…it’s over 90 degrees where I am today and I am reaalllly pregnant!).  The kraft panel was cut out using the Zig Zag Stitched Square dies from My Favorite Things and layered over an Early Espresso (SU) mat cut with a Leafy Squares die from Spellbinders.

My sentiment was heat-embossed with the same bronze embossing powder (Hampton Arts?) and punched out using the Ticket Builder punch from Stampin’ Up.  I have a slightly larger ticket punch from EK Success, so I used this to cut a coordinating brown mat.  And since I never break out my wood veneers and I have tons of them…I added some leafy wood pieces (Recollections) under my sentiment for some extra rustic fall touches.

To finish the card off, I added a little burlap ribbon and some brightly colored patterned paper (old scrap from American Crafts) to create my background.  All of this was popped up over a Neenah Desert Storm cardbase.

I hope you enjoyed this card project and please come back on Friday for a little autumn home decor inspiration.  As always, I would love to hear your comments!
