Lately I’ve been working on some wedding favor ideas for a couple of friends. The ceremony and reception will be held at an arboretum, so they decided that instead of rice, the guests should toss birdseed (a nice environmentally-friendly option!). I noticed that the little containers I used for my small embellishment storage in this post were the perfect size for a handful of seed, so I powered up my CAMEO to customize them for this special day.
The labels for the lids were made using the Silhouette White Sticker Paper and the Print & Cut feature of the Studio Software. By just coloring this design in, adding a little text, and cutting around the perimeter, I had made a ton of quick labels in no time.
Check out the tiny lettering on the side! I just typed the phrase out in the software (using the font Lobster), welded where possible, and cut it from Silhouette White Adhesive Vinyl. To finish my favors off, I tied a small bow with green and tan jute from American Crafts. I’d love to hear your comments and thanks for stopping by!
This is such a wonderful idea!
Beautiful, what a great idea. One of my favorite things to do is play around with the digital side of things to see what I can create. Thanks for the inspiration in this piece.
Really pretty! Print and cut can do everything!
