Welcome back friends! Today I wanted to share a few more ideas using the new Autumn Morning Collection from Crafter’s Companion (coming to HSN on July 11th!). This candle wrap was super quick to make, but makes a pretty and bold statement perfect for your autumn tablescape.
The main part of the wrap is just a 6″ x 3.5″ piece of Gold Mirror Cardstock cut with the “Garden Vines” die from the collection and secured around a medium pillar candle with burlap ribbon. Glued to the front is a handful of both large and small die-cut leaves (“Leaves Are Falling” and “Scattered Leaves” die sets) arranged into a dimensional focal point with foam adhesive.
Next, I created a fun autumn wall hanging by gluing one of the gorgeous pieces of patterned paper from the 12 x 12 pad into a shadow box frame (spread liquid glue all over the back of the frame with a paint brush and use a squeegee to smooth the paper on top).
A pretty sentiment was rubbed onto the paper using Adhesive Foil Transfers and gold foil.
Die-cut and embossed leaves, flourishes, and branches adorn the corners of the frame and also serve as the focal image. Gold Mirror Cardstock was used for the flourishes to coordinate with the metallic sentiment.
Once I’ve attached a matching ribbon to the back of the frame, I’ve got a quick and simple wall hanging to help usher in the season (in a month or two…yes, I know it’s still summer!).
