Welcome to the weekend friends! I am excited to be back today to share a couple of projects made with the new All The Sentiments Collection by Stampendous from Spellbinders (check out the rest of the April release here…there’s so much good stuff this month!). This collection contains really versatile stamp and die sets perfect for creating cards and gifts for tons of occasions. I used three of the sets to create these pretty cards here and spent a little time focusing on the interiors as well.
SOFT & PRETTY SYMPATHY CARD
The Sincere Sentiments Stamp Set is the perfect collection of sentiments and images to use for those cards that most of us hate to make – sympathy. The combination of beautiful greetings and longer verses in the set also makes it easy to find something to say both outside and inside of your card. To start, I stamped the pretty floral image from the set repeatedly onto vellum using Versamark Ink, added white embossing powder, and melted it with my heat tool. Then I colored the leaves in on the backside of the piece with a blue Copic marker before cutting the panel out using one of the Mirrored Arch Labels Dies.
I embossed a piece of Raindrop Cardstock using the Flowers & Foliage 3D Embossing Folder and tied a bow around the center with white satin ribbon before adding it to a top-folding A2-sized white card base with foam adhesive. Then I popped the vellum panel up on top, hiding the foam adhesive behind a sentiment from the Sincere Sentiments Stamp Set embossed in white and cut out with a smaller Mirrored Arch Label Die.
Inside I stamped a beautiful verse from the Sincere Sentiments Stamp Set in Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink…I love how this set says what I mean when it’s so hard for me to find the right words! To bring the card design into the inside a bit, I picked a pale blue ink from my stash to add the leafy branch from the set to the corner as well.
BIRTHDAY CARD WITH GIFT CARD POCKET & ENVELOPE
This next card utilizes a really unique die set from the collection to create a fun birthday card with lots of added features – the A2 Gift Card Holder & Envelope Die Set. The directions recommend using lighter weight cardstock to construct the base, so I pulled some pretty pinks out of the Meadow Collection Cardstock Pack and added gorgeous patterned paper as my focal images from the Candy Kisses Paper Pad. (That fun sentiment is included in the A2 Gift Card Holder & Envelope Die Set and cut from some pretty white glitter paper.)
Inside the gift card holder mechanism is hidden under more panels of pretty patterned paper. The die-cut sentiment is included in the die set as well, but the sentiment on the bottom panel was stamped using the All The Sentiments Stamp & Die Set (and it really does have ALLLLL the sentiments!).
Lastly, I was able to create a matching envelope that fits this fun card perfectly using even more of the dies from the A2 Gift Card Holder & Envelope Die Set and some more of the lighter weight cardstock in the Meadow Collection Cardstock Pack.
