Welcome back friends! Today I’m excited to share the new 3D Vignettes Collection by Becca Feeken. With several different fun 3D pop-up designs that can be easily converted to toppers for cards, this collection is the ultimate in versatility! I used the new 3D Vignette Hot Air Balloon Die Set to create a bright mini slimline card to send to a friend that needs cheering up.
I started by cutting just one balloon layer out of Fruit Punch (new!), Persimmon, Dune, Mirror Gold, and white cardstock (add the other layers to create the adorable 3D pop-up card!). Then I added a little shading on each piece with Picked Raspberry, Carved Pumpkin, Tea Dye, and Pumice Stone Distress Inks before assembling with liquid glue.
The background was created by cutting some of the gorgeous new Island Blue Cardstock with the largest die from the Precision Layering Mini Slimline A Die Set, then cutting the greeting out of the bottom using one of the sentiment dies from the 3D Vignette Hot Air Balloon Die Set. After embossing the top portion of the panel with the Argyle Socks Embossing Folder, I lightly rubbed white pigment ink over the raised areas to bring the design out more.
To assemble the card, mat the background panel with Mirror Gold Cardstock and adhere it to a top-folding white card base measuring 3.5″ x 6.5″ with tape runner. Then pop the hot air balloon up on top using foam adhesive and add Crystal Mix Gems for a little sparkle.
And here are three projects I made using the adorable 3D Vignette Pet House Die Set from the collection. The first uses the pet house as a focal point on an A2-sized card with two cute cats, a pretty background made with the Head In The Clouds Embossing Folder, and a sentiment from the Mini Sincere Sentiments Glimmer Plate Set. The second is the traditional 3D pop-up card with a cute puppy, sentiment, and bone sign (all included in the 3D Vignette Pet House Die Set). Finally, I used the die set to cut a shaped Christmas tag and added a cute bird from the Sugarplum Tweets Die Set, poinsettia from the Holiday Label Motifs Die Set, and sentiment from the Merry Glimmer Sentiments Plate Set.
