Looking for a way to dress up a batch of Halloween candy with just a handful of supplies? Try these easy candy bar wrappers…they would work great as an autumn neighbor or office gift as well!
Start by trimming a piece of cardstock to 4.25″ x 5.5″ for each candy bar (these measurements are for standard size Hershey bars with almonds and may need to be adjusted for other types). Here I’ve stamped a gingham background pattern (My Favorite Things) in similar ink colors on Lemon Drop and Orange Fizz Pop Tones Cardstock and Light Brown Basis Cardstock for a tone-on-tone effect.
Add a decorative edge to the shorter sides of the cardstock with a border die (Pretty Pink Posh) or shallow punch if desired.
Wrap the cardstock around the candy bar loosely and adhere in the back with a strong adhesive such as Tombow Mono Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue. Add a strip or two of wide ribbon around the center to embellish. In order to hide the adhesive on my ribbon band, I ran the thinner lace ribbon through my Xyron machine before layering it onto the burlap.
Stamp pumpkins from the “Pick-a-Pumpkin” stamp set by Newton’s Nook Designs in autumn colors onto some Neenah Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock. Die-cut the images with the coordinating dies or fussy-cut and leave a small white border.
Adhere the pumpkins to the center of the candy bar wrapper using a couple of foam tabs for dimension.
These candy bar wrappers are quick and easy to assemble, making them perfect for mass-production for all of those hungry trick-or-treaters!

What a cute idea. These would be fun favors for a fall party. Also just using the burlap band and pumpkin–great for napkin rings. Definitely filing this ida.
Thank you Donna! And you’re right…they would make great napkin rings too!
